I reached out to Anna for some coaching on my parenting. As a father of four young boys I was looking for a way to parent that didn't echo the parenting of the past, which I believe does not always promote healthy and happy children.  I was looking for methods of parenting that didn’t involve fear and punishment, so I could raise my four boys to the best humans possible, and also provide some calm around the household.  Anna was able to provide for me many tools to approach parenting in a more conscious way, and helped me to understand why children act a certain way at certain times and how to best navigate those tense situations.  I feel after the coaching I am armed with a much clearer and calmer idea on how to interact with my children, and although not always successful, I have had many wins and am forever thankful for that.  Highly recommended for anyone who wants to transcend their parenting to pass on to future generations.

Words can’t express the gratitude I have for Anna and Conscious Parenting Coaching. I came into this during a very difficult time in my life, looking for help with my toddlers behaviour/tantrums, my own “adult tantrums”  and support to navigate a separation from my sons father, that had the least amount of impact on him as possible.
If I’m honest I came into this wanting to “fix” my sons tantrums but very quickly realised the problem wasn’t him it lay with me and that in itself was a hard truth to acknowledge. You become a parent with all the best intentions and you do your best with what you have. It isn’t until you become a parent that you are woken up to the not so nice parts of yourself, that have managed to stay within your control or just hidden. Then these beautiful little beings come along and test every possible known trigger you have inside of you as well as stretch every possible resource you have leaving you sometimes left with next to nothing in the tank.
If I didn’t do this work I can honestly say I would be stuck in this repeat cycle of getting triggered, yelling or shutting down emotionally to my son, feeling guilty over it, shaming myself, telling myself I will do better and then it would start all over again.
The tools I have and the healing journey I have whole heartedly committed to with Anna has changed everything in my life, the most important to me was my relationship/connection with my son and what I have found to be the foundation of it all is the relationship with myself.
Things aren't “perfect” I’m not, my sons not, life isn’t and I’m learning it never will be because we are human. I have learnt to try embrace the shitty moments, ask questions rather than judge them and just learn to be with my son moment to moment and see him for who he shows up as, in each moment.
Anna Is without a doubt my Guru in life, as we evolve and change alongside these little humans, I feel proud knowing I am doing the work to become a more ConsciousThe tools I have and the healing journey I have whole heartedly committed to with Anna has changed everything in my life Parent and that all I do, all I heal is healing future generations and creating a life for my son where he can thrive.

Anna has the most beautifully welcoming, accepting and gentle nature. After my discovery call, I instantly knew she would take me to places in myself that I needed to get to. Her knowledge and understanding of emotions and human behaviour is extraordinary and her passion for using her gifts to help others is truly inspiring.
I feel that she has brought me to the core of who I am. She has helped me not only uncover my deepest beliefs about myself but also helped me to see how each belief has brought me to where I am in my life today. She has taught me how to access feelings that I otherwise would have pushed away deep inside or would have told myself I was wrong for feeling. I now know how to welcome feelings and emotions I once hated in myself and see what they have come to teach me about my needs. With this new way of taking care of myself I have a new way to parent my beautiful little boy. He and I talk about our feelings now and what we need when our feelings come up. I feel we are on a journey together, of me becoming a parent I am proud to be and my son growing into an emotionally intelligent human being.
I thought I was only coming to Anna to talk about being a parent, I had no idea how I would be guided to learn so much about myself, learn to love all the parts of myself and then take that into the journey of being a parent. I want to recommend Anna Davis - Conscious Parenting Coach for anyone who wants to really explore their parenting and become more connected to themselves through the parenting journey. Anna is incredibly observant, she has the ability to turn little lightbulbs on inside of me at every session. She sees and understands my deeper patterns so clearly, and also helps me to shift them so I can be the mother and person I want to be. It’s a journey, but I can definitely say I have learnt more with Anna in 4 sessions than I have from anyone else since I’ve been on this parenting journey... and this is not the first parenting type course I’ve done. So if you’re struggling or not, and just want to deepen your connection, to yourself and your child I would highly recommend Anna, she has blown my mind.

“I was at the point where I was absolutely exhausted from the daily battles with my 5 year old son.”

It is very hard to put into words how much of a positive impact Anna has had on not only my life as an individual, but that also of my family. I reached out to Anna initially because I didn't like who I was when I was angry. I yelled a lot. I had 'tried' to change for the last few years myself, but was unable to figure out why I couldn't. I was now at the point where I was absolutely exhausted from the daily battles with my 5 year old son. 15 sessions and 4 months later I can honestly say I am a completely different person. I am unable to tell you the last time I yelled and that is something I am so grateful for. Of course I still get angry or frustrated, but with Anna's help I no longer 'react' to those feelings. I can honestly say I am enjoying the day to day of being a parent again. The tools and knowledge that Anna is able to provide was of such value. Working with Anna has been life-changing and highly effective. I’ve used the strategies suggested by Anna to help streamline my 2 least favorite times of the day; getting ready for school and bedtime routine. In less than a week, these challenging times of the day have become easy, effortless and enjoyable. My girls are excited to get themselves dressed, organized and out the door and they now go to bed with minimal protest - MIND BLOWN!
